Enhanced Price List "Catalogs" for Printing or PDF, or Web Display
It would be great to allow price lists to be made into PDF booklets that can be printed or emailed to clients, that attractively display examples of the product being purchased, and maybe explanations of things like the different paper types and what a Fotoflot is for those clients who do not know. The PDF catalog could be customized with our branding, logo, and other design elements and would also be available as a custom web page for our site, with a different page link for each price list.

similar suggestions have been made in the past. I've posted on uservoice too. this really shouldn't be something to vote on and then wait years for implementation. customers need visual catalogs. And it's hard to for us to put this together on our own without quick access to all the product images.
Something similar to what you're suggesting is what you see on Target, Wlagreens and other big brand websites - often offered via ShopLocal for their weekly circulars - interactive digital catalogs - http://www.shoplocal.com/about/solutions.html.
But generally speakin, the catalog must be more visual.
Let's take a simple example:
http://www.newegg.com/Electronics/StoreEach product has an image, price and brief description. Now imagine if you visited this Newegg page and there were no pictures - just text. How many products would you click on to see more info/image before you lost interest or decided to shop elsewhere?
If that's not convincing enough, how about if you visited a DATING site and there were no pictures of the girls or guys. You have to click first to see the picture. How many profiles would you click before you lost interest? I don't know about you, but if there's no picture, I'm moving on unless I'm really bored or desperate.
A picture is worth a million words! Pictures come first, then come the details. It's a lot easier to make a quick decision when presented with dozens of product images, than comparing dozens of product descriptions.
