Bigger size of images in galleries and slideshow.
I have a 27 inch display and when I open my images in full screen mode the size of them do not show the quality as much as they should. I have account in the "other" company as well and when i look on my photos on their website they look much better - it is not the process they use - the photos are bigger and this is what it makes the photos look better. I can not stay with the "other company" because they do not have european lab - us only.
I think by changing the size of max displayed photo would improve the experience much better, and you will get more customers from the "other company".

I agree that other services allow for larger images that are much cleaner in slideshows and banners. Definitely more of an issue with larger screens becoming standard.

This is not only true for slideshows/galleries this is also true for cropping images when purchasing... 770 static pixles assigned to image width, no matter the viewers resolution.
I create panoramas, a 770pix wide image at 3.5:1 ratio gives me 770x220pix image for cropping preview..... this is a total joke and does not in any way let you see the image in all its glory, let alone let you make a selective crop with any accuracty at all.

Agreed. The maximum image size is way too small. Time to puff 'em up.

This request, along with two other similar ones, is over-due for implementation. Not only should the maximum image size be larger, but the viewer should be able to scroll around an image that is larger than the available screen area. The maximum image size should still be set by the site owner.

This is my number 1 request - the only thing I want from a service like Zenfolio is to show photos online.. not small previews (yes that is how 1550 x 960 feels like even on a 24" 1920 x 1200 screen.
The Slideshow feature is useless if the max image size is smaller than a standard LCD monitor nowadays!

This feature suggestion is already over a year old, in the meantime more and more people are buying 27inch monitors. The slideshow feature is showing a blurry, blown-up image... the regular albums display an image that is way too small, layoutwise the page isn't pretty!

I totally agree with you. Visual aspect of the gallerie must be improved! Bigger images, less clutter. Sorry to say, but Zenfolio needs to move forward competitors like 500px, in terms of beatifullness of its galleries.

Agree that 1550 x 960 maximum is too small to scale up for Full Screen Mode on most monitors. If need image security, could password-limit access to the larger display images.
