Revenue Reports by Photographer for Single or Multiple Galleries or Groups
I’d like to request for an improvement (Enhancement Request) on the Reporting side of the Selling component on the platform.
I understand that this: http://www.zenfolio.com/eu/z/help/support-center#/customer/en/portal/articles/408251?t=590410 provides a lot of info, but there is still a slight gap that I’d like to see added to the above already available.
I have one of my 3 Zenfolio Websites set up so that each event covered is listed as a Group and, within each Group are numerous galleries each of which is assigned to an Individual Photographer (Contributing Photographer).
Event participants access the website via link to the respective group and make purchases of images as they would normally and are able to select images and purchase images from any of the galleries listed.
Up until this point I have no issues - Zenfolio works fine. I get the confirmation of sale, which is broken down into each image sold etc. etc.
However, after a month, each of my photographers will be entitled to a value that is calculated on a percentage of the revenue FOR THEIR IMAGES ONLY.
Therefore I need to be able to:
1- Enter Start Date / End Date
2- Select Orders
3- Select "Specific" Gallery (Photographer) or "All" Galleries (Photographers)
4- Obtain a breakdown of the total of revenue generated in that Specific Gallery. Currently what I get is a break down by Sale totals.
If I then look at the total values, it provides the total of the sales where images from this gallery were sold.
What I need is this same breakdown but for the system to Calculate just the revenue for images sold from the selected gallery or Galleries.

(as I had no option to upload it will compiling this Feature).
I managed to compile the information I needed and calculate revenue by exporting each sale into a Database in Excel.
In all this took me best part of 3 hours to figure out but I got there in the end. However, I’m sure that there must be the need for this type of report for other Zenfolio users especially if using multiple commission based contributing photographers.
I also wanted to know what where the most popular type of resolution sold from the sales in that specific period, so from the information that Zenfolio already provides me in the option to export to Excel I was able to compile a few other interesting charts.
Again, very useful information for Zenfolio users to have which is why it’s already made available. However, there is no way in the reporting area within Zenfolio to extract this information and view it on screen.
Finally, it would be like the icing on the cake if I was able to e-mail this to the owner of each gallery or galleries (as I have their e-mail address when I gave them access as a Contributing Photographer).
